The State’s I-84 project will intermittently close and detour Berkshire Road between New Britain Avenue and Mildred Road, starting this Friday, May 13 through Friday, May 20. The closure is required to safely complete the setting of steel for the two new I-84 overpasses. School buses and student pedestrians will be accommodated, with some delays possible. West Hartford Police Officers will be on site at each end of the closure or the alternating traffic pattern.
